Given up on the whole Jay's house prospect. Got a nice little outburst from Adam about walking away nicely, so I guess I will. Of course I want to fight on. Simply to fight on. But I'm getting the impression it's not terribly worth it. When I visited there some weeks ago and was granted a day pass, nothing had changed. The furniture was moved, the rooms rearranged, and nothing was different. To be honest, I got skeeved. I know WHY I want to be there. If there's a party, it'd be nice to see a couple people. Or just swing by to see Justin, or Ed and Pete, or whoever else. But Chris voted no, and that swung the vote, and I'm gone. Guess it's for the best.

So I consider this in my drunken state of mind. Sitting in the passenger seat of some girl driving through the Taco Bell drive-thru.

Listen...you have work, school, and your getting pretty decent at finding people to hang around with. You hang around with Dunigan and Des and Justin still, and they've proven to be some of the best friends you'll ever have, time and time again. You cant chill with them at the house, but so what? Familiarity breeds contempt, and that's why they hang out with you now. Hey, dumbass...your life is pretty decent right now. You know damn well if you keep going you COULD get back in there, but you really dont want too. Stop trying to fight for something you dont really want.
